I got an email from a friend today.
Not an unusual occurance. But this email was quite different from the usual jokes and funny pictures that I usually get from her.
This email was less that 75 words, but the impact was extreme.
This friend's, son, took his life on Sunday morning.
She apologized to me for conveying the information in an email, but she said she didn't have the strength for another phone call.
She said she didn't know how they would survive this.
She prayed for strength.
This woman is one of the strongest, kindest, most caring people that I know. The death of her son is devastating and will effect her for the rest of her life.
Children are NOT suppose to die before their parents!
But I know her . . .
She will survive!
And I will be there to help her anyway I can.
R.I.P. Erik
