An old friend came by to visit today.
We went to high school together and we were two of the three musketeers. We did everything together. We survived first husbands ( and her second husband) We gave birth to 5 kids between us. (All boys by the way). She even got married to her current hubby in my back yard.
For some reason we lost touch. She moved away to live with her elderly parents things changed. We would send email once in awhile but never seemed to get together.
Well tonight changed all that. Her and her hubby knocked on our door this evening for a surprise visit. We chit chatted for almost 3 hours. It was great!
She is a grandma and two of her three boys are married. He baby is 19. Wow can that be. She looks great and it was wonderful to see her.
We will definately keep in touch.
