The Game is On!

The following is a Survivor All Star entry. If you haven't watched this weeks episode and don't want to spoil your day. DO NOT READ ON!

I'm Overwhelmed!

Gads, there is alot to do.

I have been working since 7am this morning to get the house and yard ready for the "Wedding". I have the next two days off.

But I am sooo behind! What with all the rain Sunny Arizona has been having and the fact I had a killer migraine that sidelined me all of Sunday.

Then there is the "snowball effect". I do one thing and ten more things appear that need to be done.

I feel like I am spinning my wheels.

But I can see the yard coming around. The rain has made some green grow. Not bad for 6 weeks notice eh?

Your Choice!

I just got one of those annoying "We are conducting a Survey" phone calls just now. This was one of those "recorded" calls. It was about abortion and was suppose to be quick. So I decided I would go along with it.

This friendly womans voice said, "If you are ProLife and are against abortion please press 1." ..... I waited.

Then she said, If you are ProChoice and believe it is a womans choice to end a pregnancy, press 9. "

I pressed 9.

I couldn't believe my ears.

WHAT WAS THAT?

What goes FFFTTTPOPSIZZLESNAP?

Give up?

What a Day!

Started the day at the vet.

Poor Kerm!

His hips are fine but his spine has a touch of arthritis. It is in the lower part (sacrum) between the leg joints. Doc said it didn't look that bad to be causing the total non-use of the one leg and asked if he could have had a muscle injury on top of the arthritis.

Think think think ... Then I occured to us it might have been last week when Rick took him over to his mom's 2 acres and Kerm tried to take on a Great Dane. Rick pulled them apart before the teeth sunk in to each other but not before Kerm raked his nails down the back of Rick's legs as he was straining to get that "Bad Boy". Think that might have done it? Doc nodded.

So Kerm is laying here higher than a kite from the good drugs he got at the vet to "calm him" while they took xrays. (He don't take kindly to strangers)
I asked the Doc if we could have some extras for the rest of the time (like the rest of his hyper life) but he just gave me a quirky smile. I don't think he got it.

So it is bed rest and anti-inflammatory meds for the next week to see if it gets better.

That means NO BALL!

This is going to be a very interesting week.

Animal Down

Looks like we are going to have to take Kermit into the vet in the morning.

He is favoring his hind legs and walking like an old man.

I think Liko is walking even better than Kerm today.

Hope it is just a pulled muscle or something less serious. It has been an on again off again thing.

Damn I hate sick animals... they look so pathetic.

Somebody Just Shoot Me!

That was my feeling earlier today.

I woke up about 4 this morning with a killer Migraine. Rick (the sweety that he is) got up and got me the usual ice pack and meds. He knows the drill by now.

But it did not get better!

Ever had your head in a vise as someone was turning it tighter and tighter and another someone is poking you in the eye with a hot poker? Yeah that feeling! That is how I spent my beautiful slightly rainy Sunday.

I only managed to get up to go potty and hang over the toilet the few times I thought I was going to puked. Thank God I didn't, else the top of my head would have probably blown off.

About 4:30 I woke up from one of my naps and felt considerably better. Altho I looked abit like Don King with blonde hair. (Don King is the boxing promoter with the gray hair that sticks straight up off his head)

Now it is time to go to bed and I am WIDE AWAKE!

Is it time to panic yet!

I am sooo good at it!

Here is my reason for PANIC!

We are having an outdoor wedding here on Feb. 29th.

Niki and Josh are the Bride and Groom. It is going to be a small affair with family and close friends.

I have been working to get the grass green (with only 6 weeks notice) and the dog poop scooped up. Flowers planted ... weeds pulled ... trees trimmed etc.

Things are coming together quite nicely. No reason to PANIC! Right?

WRONG!

Top Ten List

idea from Just Like A Dream

This is fun.

Step 1: Open your mp3 player.
Step 2: Put all of your music on random.
Step 3: List the first ten songs it plays, no matter how embarrassing.

Here is my list ...

How Tough Was That?

GUILTY!

I don't understand why people are surprised!

I don't understand why the waste of time and money.

The charge was "Leaving the scene of a serious injury or fatal accident" ...

Well! Doh! THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HE DID!

His defense of "It never crossed my mind it was a person!" Bull shit!

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope everyone has a GREAT day!
Full of love and happiness.

Love you all,

Traecy

My Valentine Bear!

| 1 TrackBack

Mr. Fed Ex stopped by this afternoon with a Valentine from my oldest son, Josh.
Isn't she adorable! Her name is Valli, since she is a Valentine's Present.

Course "Big Head Dog" thinks that she is his. So Valli is going to get a nice spot up high on my desk shelves.

Thank you Josh! I love you!

Which Mythological Beast Are You?

I took the "What Mythological Beast Are You?" test.

Got it from Niki's blog. Was kind of fun in a weird sort of way. Altho I couldn't get the code that was supplied to work. I managed to tweak it to get it to work here.

And the winner is . . .

Doggie Flu Shot

Have you ever gotten a flu shot to prevent the flu? And then gotten the flu a few days later?

Well ... Dogs have the same problem.

Updating the Blog

I have added a few things to the blog.

I added a counter ... pretty pathetic right now. Only one visitor.

I added a cool limk to a GuestMap. I saw it on GoFish weblog and loved the idea. That too is pretty pathetic so far.

And also a link for Rings. Signed up for Dry heat and the Phoenix Bloggers but haven't heard back from either yet. Need to find out exactly WHAT the link for Phoenix Bloggers is. I have come across "several" while I was looking around.

Screaming cat = no sleep

Last night after we had drifting off to sleep ...

We hear this "God Awful" painful cry of a cat.

Inside the house!

It is OUR cat.

What do I do with the dog?

They are NOT invited to the wedding you know.

If I put Liko in the back bedroom before everyone arrived, he wouldn't even know anyone was here. (He is 16 years old and pretty blind and VERY deaf) But since the girls will be getting ready back there he might sense the movement. Then when the door closed on his poor little old ass he would start the sorrowful whining that he does so well. And believe me EVERYONE would hear him.

Kermit on the other hand would want to be the "Belle of the Ball" so to speak. (I guess boys aren't "Belle's" but couldn't come up with a good simile) He would think that the party was for him to have an unlimited supply of "Ball Throwers".

So What to do? .... What to do?
