I am soo bummed.
I have been wanting to get my blog skinned for quite awhile.
I love to mess around with the design of my blog but couldn't figure out how to get it to work for skinning. Even after reading some tutorials on it. So I decided to pay the $ to have it done correctly.
I contacted Joelle at BlogMoxie about a month ago to have her recode my current blog design and make the site skinnable. At the time she was very busy on a big commercial client, so I knew it was going to take awhile. The anticipation mounted.
Well I got an email earlier this week that she was going to get to it this week.
She got back to me yesterday.
She redid my current design and set the blog up so I could add more skins. So I promptly went to MT support and got one of their default styles and tweeked it to see if I could get it skinned.
After all day futtzzing with it (and several emails back and forth to Joelle) I got the skin to change from the pretty yellow flower spring design to a basic pink design (that needs work).
Here's the bumming part.
It will ONLY change from the URL: www.kimballnet.com/mt/tjblognot from www.whatsupwiththat.net
Seems it has to do with my redirect.
I could just cry!
So off I go to find a solution for this problem.
Wish me luck.

Being the totally computer challenged person that I am, I can't help you with the computer stuff, but as a friend, I can help you with the Ben and Jerry's. I am actually quite good at that!
Ohhh, my redirect has caused all sorts of problems for me! This is what happens when your fiance wants to host your website off of his own server and he has to use a mask to make your domain show and not the IP address.
If I can't even get my trackbacks working how could I ever possibly begin to skin my site? Not that I have any time to set up skinning on my site, but still. It's the principle of the thing. Now I'm bummed.
Enough ranting and raving. Good luck! Hope something works out for you. :)
