Lay Off Me!

Pay attention! I didn't say "LAY ME OFF"!

Hubby works for a global networking company that is about to lay off somewhere around 600 employees. These employees will be coming mostly from the department that he works in.

OH JOY!

This isn't the first time we have had to take the "Let's wait and see what happens" stance and it probably won't be the last. But I can tell you that it is really getting old. But he has a job (for now) and the pay is great (for now) and he has a positive mental outlook on the whole thing. So I guess I will:

"Wait and see what happens" But I don't have to like it!

Keep your fingers crossed that Hubby and Josh and maybe even Niki all keep their jobs.

Trust me when I say I KNOW and FEEL what you're going through. For 5 years TD worked at a company that laid people every quarter, so 3-4 times a year we were waiting for that 'meeting'...funny thing, that 'meeting' finally came at a time where we WEREN'T too worried about him being laid off....I have my fingers and toes crossed that no one gets laid off, but those that do find replacement jobs ASAP!

At work we are still waiting for the "other shoe to drop". It is a small company, and there have been some cuts ... but it is rumored that there will be more .... **we all eye each other with nervous anxiety**

I work with Nancy...and yes, we are....

LOVE the Halloween layout. Little ghost at the top of this page is too cute!!

Layoffs suck, and we've had too many of them in this country for the last 3 years. I live in Tulsa and there is always a big company laying off or moving out of the state. We just dread it every day, week, month.

Hope everything is ok for you family during the process.
