1. This one time at Band Camp...Yep, I was there. TRUE! I was AT Band Camp as a chaperone for my son when HE was in band. And NO it wasn't like the line from American Pie. I have NEVER played an instrument But I had you going eh?

2. I once did a dine and dash (left without paying) at Denny's. TRUE! When hubby and I were dating, we stopped at Denny's for a late night snack at the end of our date. Just as we were finishing our food, he leaned over and kissed me. The waitress quickly came to the table and said, "I am sorry but you have to leave." We thought she was kidding cause we were necking in the booth. But she informed us "No REALLY, there is a FIRE in the kitchen. So the whole restaurant ran out and stood outside while the fire department went in to put out the grease fire. We waited around for about 20 mins, with the other customers. But since we couldn't get back in we left. Dine and Dash! Felt guilty about it for weeks. :)

3. I am a member of the Red Baron Bi-Plane Squadron. Actually completing a tour of duty. TRUE! I have the little certificate to prove it. I actually flew in the back seat of a Red Baron Bi-Plane. We did loops and barrel rolls and dead man falls for about an hour. And I didn't even puke. Not saying I didn't feel like it but I never ACTUALLY did.

4. I shared a kiss with Larry Wilcox, the once famous blond cop from C.H.I.P.S. TRUE! Larry was at a car show here in Phoenix. I asked him for an autograph and got my picture taken sitting on his lap and he also gave me a kiss. He was quite sweet, even tho I stepped on his toe.

5. As a child I played in a POW camp. TRUE! When I was kid we use to play in a huge field by our house, called Papago Park. There were these big long buildings that we use to play around in. I didn't know it at the time but they were used to house German POW's back during World War II

6. I have melted the bottoms of my tennies by standing on three day old hot lava. TRUE! Several years ago, my first hubby and I were visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. During that time the Kiluaea volcano was oozing lava into the ocean. During one of our hikes we came across a Park Ranger who was monitoring the area. He told us that the lava we were standing on was about a week old but that the "stuff" right over there was only 3 days old and still very hot to the touch. He said, "Go ahead, you can stand on it." So being the rebel I am ... The tennies started to get sticky and melty. It was quite cool.

7. I almost landed in a restricted area in a hot air balloon. TRUE! My brother owned a hot air balloon that we use to fly over the city. We once ended up very low on fuel right next to the AZ National Guard base. Everytime we tried to set down the wind would take us over the restricted area. After about 4 attempts to land, we ended up in the middle of the street in a residential area within 100 yards of the Base. And believe me...there were lots of people there to help us land. Including some military types.

8. I once saved someone from drowning. TRUE! My 5 year old cousin was swimming with me at a neighbors house. He didn't swim, so he was sitting on the steps next to me. I was talking to my friend and heard this glug glug glug noise. I turned around and "little cousin" had stepped off the steps and was drowning in 4 feet of water. I snatched him up and he spewed water for about 5 mins. He was saved. The ironic thing is....about 6 years later, he was found at the bottom of an apartment swimming pool. Again someone pulled him out - gave him CPR and he survived.

9. I have been swimming with the dolphins. This one is the BIG FAT LIE. I have yet to swim with the dolphins but I hope to do it next year for my birthday.

So that's the story and I am sticking to it. Now you know all there is to know about me. Well maybe there is abit more. But that is for another entry.
