Getting to Know You

Mom brought her new puppy, Tiger, over to meet the family a few days back. By "family" I mean my animals. See, Kermit the dog, is not the friendliest when it comes to "other animals" coming to visit. He wants them to know right off that he is the king of his domain and they will follow his rule. He has to be right in their face all the time making sure that they are not doing ANYTHING he deems inappropriate. Which is EVERYTHING!

But he must be getting old, because it was alot less painful than normal.

Then there is Beeker the cat. He just watches from a distance and has the look, "Geez, not another one!"

Tiger being the baby that he is, listened to all of Kerm's demands and spent most of the time in someones lap or arms. But he had never seen a "cat" before. He was quite intrigued.

Take a look.

I can't believe Beeker put up with it. I guess maybe he thought Tiger was just one of Kermits squeaky toys.

I think Mom thought that Beeker was going to pounce on Tiger. Look she is ready to grab Tiger away to safety.

But then again the cat outweighs the dog by about 10 lbs.

My roommate owns a cat that could be your Beeker's twin. Plus that is a very cute puppy.

I would be afraid of that cat too. Catzilla!!!

We had a big mean, ugly orange tabby cat that had only about 5 teeth total but was the MEANEST thing you'd ever meet. I found him on our carport one day and he was declawed and looked REALLY bad. I took him in and MADE my mom let me keep him (there was no way we could let a declawed cat out in the wild by himself!) He was HUGE and mean...but eventually he warmed up to me and I was the only one he'd have anything to do with. My mother hated that cat! lol

The sweater us precious!

Now that is an adorable photo. Our cat is utterly vicious and once chased a larger dog under my car with her scratching and hissing.
