Hubby and I went to the first Christmas party of the season, last night. This is my favorite party of the year to go to. It is the "Friend" party. Not the business associates party or the neighborhood party but the Party with the people you have known for years and get to see "for sure" at Christmas time. With everyone busy with their own lives, work, kids and "stuff" in general, we don't get to spend quality time with these people thru out the year. Just quick hi and bye and hows life treating you. But this one night we get to sit down and chat about the year and what has been happening. I love it. Good people - Good food - good drink - good laughs and GOOD FEELINGS.

Glad you had such a great time. Those are the nice parties and do set the tone for the season.
It sounds like a fabulous time! I look forward to the holidays because it is a time to check in on those we don't have time to see regularly during the year. (I send out way more Christmas cards than I need to for that reason)
so it's OK to "misbehave" if you confess it to Santa before the big day? Then you come off the "check twice" list? I'll keep that in mind!
