Free Credit Report

Did you know that as of Dec. 1st 2004, you are able to receive a credit report for FREE! Me either! That is until my bank sent me the information in the mail.

A recent amendment to the Fair Credit Reporting Act requires each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months.

You can order your free annual credit report online at www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling 877-322-8228.

This website is the ONLY authorized source for your free annual credit report from the three consumer reporting companies.

With all the credit fraud out there it is always a good idea to check your credit report every year. And now you can do it for FREE!
