Can sombody tell me how a ceiling fan, that is on almost all the time, can get so much dust and grime on it?

Shouldn't it all blow off when it is spinning around hour after hour after hour?

I just don't get it.

How does dust get everywhere all the time? I think it blows out of the air returns. I can't keep up with it!

I just wonder where the dust comes from to begin with??

I know, it is like a magnet! Mine is always grimy!

I'm so with you on this! I noticed the same thing last pm in my living room. For a second or two I actually thought "my rabbit" was UP on the blades!

How does this happen? Grrrrr.
ps.
I heart Curious George!!!!!

The grease floats through the air and attach's itself to the rotating blades and then as the blades move the dust around it catches some in the grease and holds onto it.
