Leaving 70 degree temperature to come back to 100 plus temperature SUCKS!
The mini-vacation was awesome! Light thunderstorms almost everyday - cool temps - naps each afternoon - the kids and granddaughter to play with... what more could one ask for.
I promised you some humminbird pictures. They didn't turn out quite as good as I had hoped they would but you can get the idea. There were at least 30 different ones flying around at any given time. Kaylin loved watching them. So did Beeker the cat.
By the way... Reality sucks too!

All four perches are being used. I think I heard them gossiping but I don't know much hummingbird.

Wow those pics are awesome, I know you can't see the birds well, but I think of the couple of years we had our feeder up and we never saw on single bird come to ours. I'm jealous. I understand the temp change you went though. We went up to the cottage last weekend and we left it was 92 and when we got up there it was in the low 60's and we need sweatshirts at night. It was great to sleep in. The A/C is great, but I really like to have a breeze come through the house every now and then.
