Stick a Fork in Me . . .

I may be done with my Xmas shopping. Of course, I won't know until I get to the wrapping and find that I really "didn't" buy that thing I thought I already bought.

I did NOT inherit a "shopping gene" from ANYONE! I hate to shop and God forbid someone wants me to go shopping WITH them. When I go, I have a list - I know where I want to go - what I want to get - and I DON'T want to waste time waiting for someone else to find their stuff. So it is a solo flight for me.

The only GOOD thing about shopping is I treat myself to a Starbuck's Caramel Frappuccino Lite. Totally worth the pain of shopping.

I'm like you but I don't even need the list. I just know who I need to buy for and I get the first thing that talks to me for them. Yes I know I'm a tad weird, but stuff does talk to me. :)

Well, I surely inherited THAT gene without fail. When I go shopping I know what I am going for. I 'Shop With A Mission'. I am not one to window shop. I go with intent, I get, I go.

Ordinarily I'm a window shopper.

But being 8 mos pregnant this year, that is the last thing on my mind. I'm slow enough right now as it is without wasting time "browsing" stuff. Besides, my feet and legs start discussing a revolt before I'm even 30 minutes into shopping. And you know, when you spend that first 30 minutes standing in line for a gift card, the rest of the day is pretty much shot mobility-wise. I was shuffling along like a 90 year old woman by the time I was done. :-/
