Friday morning we are off to Jerome until Sunday.

This trip is my X-mas present from my youngest son and family. We are staying two nights at the Jerome Grand. It is an awesome place to stay and is said to be "haunted". We have never actually SEEN a ghost but we have all experienced some "strange" things when we have stayed there before.

Third floor balcony rooms are the best because the view is absolutely amazing of the Verde Valley. Temps should be in the low 70's with a low in the low 30's. Snuggling weather.

My youngest son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter are also going. We will take little K to see the animals at the Gold King Mine and for a walk around Jerome. I am hoping to take a side trip to Sedona to "rejuvinate my spirit". Okay, so I am probably just going to hang out among the pretty red rocks.

There have been a couple of things bothering me the past few days.

1. What's with nose hair? I, personally have no nose hair. At least not that anyone else can see. But I have a friend who has nose hair. LOTS of nose hair. As a matter of fact, so MUCH nose hair, that I spent most of our breakfast date trying NOT to look at her nose. (YES, I did say HER) I know what to get her for her next birthday.

2. Where are all the AA batteries coming from?

I have found at least 10 batteries in the past week. Just lying on the ground, EVERYWHERE! The parking lot at the shop - the front yard - the parking lot of the barrestaurant that we went to for dinner - in front of Starbucks! Is it a conspiracy? Is someone trying to poison the earth with discarded AA batteries? Anyone have an idea?

3. How do two (2) people make so damn much laundry in a week?

4. How one minute I have something to tell someone and the next minute I have no idea what that something was!

5. I know there was more but damn if I can remember what it was.

I have such a bad case of the "I Don't Give A Shit" 's.

I know that I should get down and dirty and clean but I don't have any desire or ambition to to that.

I also know that I should get to the gym and get in a good workout but again....I don't want too.

I have been having insomnia for the past few weeks and if I GET in bed by 11pm, I don't get to sleep until 2 or 3am. To top it off I don't sleep soundly.

I have no energy! I have no desire!

The final clue was Valentine's Day. The day of love, romance and sweethearts!

My Hubby comes home with a piece of software and a cable for my cellphone. Stuff that I have been wanting, but not the least bit romantic. No mussy card - no flowers - no candy!

AND I DIDN'T CARE! I didn't have any feelings about it at all.

I think I am DEPRESSED!

I just got back from watching the play, "Menopause - The Musical". I am still laughing and I find my self bopping my head to music that isn't playing anymore.

If you are one of the lucky ones who have had a few "hot flashes" - raise your hand. If you have had those dreaded memory lapses - raise your other hand. If you manage to go from being really happy to really bitchy in less than two seconds flat - Then you have to get ye to "Menopause - The Musical" it is hysterical.

There were several times I couldn't see because I was laughing so hard I was crying.

Even if you are like me, and are not old enough to have gone through the "change" (Stop laughing) you would enjoy this play.

I give it 5 thumbs up.

Still have alittle work to do but at least it doesn't say Happy Holidays anymore. It's February for heavens sake.

Damn, I hate insomnia! What is with me being up until 2 in the morning? I just can't seem to fall asleep. I was in bed since 10:30 - tossed and turned for an hour an a half - all the while listening to Hubby snoring away.

Now at 12:30 I sit here blogging about not sleeping as I yawn every two minutes.

Who the hell needs sleep anyway?
