Help! I have been Robbed!

I hate f*cking fighting with the bank about "MY" money. Actually it isn't the "bank" but the company that handles their online billpaying.

They seem to have paid my Discover card bill this month. TWICE! To the tune of $1200. TWICE!

I have been on the phone all morning talking to the "bank" - to the bill pay company - to collections of the bill pay company. Of course, the "techs" who answer the first calls are idiots and don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. I asked to be escalated to a supervisor. The one "bimbo" in collections said, "They won't help you either and forwarded me MY OWN BANK, who has nothing to do with the bill pay.

I finally, (after my fourth call and as many cups of coffee) I got someone who knew something. As of this writing, I STILL am short $1200 in my checking account but the "supervisor" has escalated the problem and I should hear something in a few hours. Trust me, if I don't they will be hearing from me AGAIN! (original post on 3/13/06)

UPDATE! I got my money back from Discover on Monday the 20th. I also got the "service charges" that were accessed to my account reversed. And a Huge apology from the bank. The dorks at the Bill Pay - not so much of an apology but what can you expect from a bunch of half-brain idiots.

Rain Rain DON'T Go Away!

Woo Hoo! IT'S RAINING! Really raining!

For those of you in the snow packed-otherwise soggy areas of the world, this is GOOD news. Here in Phoenix, we have been without any measurable rain for something like 143 days. (Oct 18, 2005 was the last time it rained. You do the math).

But right now, at 7:11am it is raining a nice steady drizzle, and has been for quite awhile. We have PUDDLES, people! Real PUDDLES! The air smells like wet dirt (that is what rain smells like here) and it is kind of cold. (another unusual occurrence here).

I don't want to go to work. Wonder if I can call in and say I can't make it because it is raining. Which might not be to far off because it sometimes floods here when it rains.

WOO HOO! RAIN!

Ghosts and Gobdogs!

Guess I should let you know we got back from Jerome okay.

We just missed a 5 hour delay on the freeway because of a big accident. So THAT was a good thing.

Jerome was great. We didn't see any ghosts but we did hear a moaning coming from the room next door. But it was of the earthly XXX rated nature. Oh Fun!

I should have asked if the hotel has any "dog ghosts". While we were on the sun porch, my one year old granddaughter would point to the other end of the enclosure and do her "sign" for dog. I told her there was no dog there, (at least I didn't see one) and she would point and do her doggy sign again(baby sign language) Then she would stare down there like she was watching some dog playing and laugh. I thought it was kind of strange at the time but didn't think to much about it. But she did it two more times during our stay and the rest of the group was there to witness it. Very spooky indeed!
