Holy Cow! Don't have a cow! I am actually dusting off the ole blog and posting something. Looks like the last time I posted was about 6 months ago. Seems that is the average length between the last few posts.
I don't suppose there are any readers left out there but for those of you who might still be around, I'll give you the run down.
The granddaughters are growing like weeds. And are OH SO MUCH FUN! I have finally found the reason to have kids in the first place. (so they can give you grandkids) If you haven't already you should try it.
I just had to move from my old place of business to a new place of business. HATE IT! Not only the moving but the new place is SOOOO disorganized and I am SOOOO the organized person. But the 3 of us from the old shop all moved together so we plan to make THIS one our own. I think that translates to "We will be taking over now". There is one stylist who is a non-stop talker. He is loaded with misinformation about everything and has shown signs of being a racist/bigot and just a down right idiot. The other "girl" is a chatter box also, but not quite as annoying. The manager has already received the title of "We'll Get You That Tomorrow - But tomorrow never comes" person. All my favorite type of people.
Hubby is great. Cat is great. Me....I have shingles! WHAATTT! JUST WHAT I NEED FOR THE HOLIDAYS. So far, it hasn't been too bad. They are painful but not as bad as my MOM has them. It has been two weeks and I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I am sure going to miss those Vicadin induced sleeps at night though.
I have to head off to my GREAT job now.
See you in 6 months.
Damn, does this place need a face lift. I will get right on it. (yeah right!)

Why did you guys have to move shop? What causes shingles? Isn't that something that itchy like all get out?
I'm an organized person too. I was recently laid off a long-term job, and my organization skills made things go along smoothly.
Now that I'm home, (and actually have time)I'm making an effort to be as organized as I was at work. So far, it's been fun, but I bet it gets to be a drudge after a while.
