First the Dog Update.
Seems the "steroids" that he takes to keep the "discoid lupus" from eating away his nose, is causing the foot problem. According to "Dr Vet that I Don't Like" the tendons can get "loose and stretchy" when on steroids. So we are going to try to take him OFF the steroids and put him back on the Niacinamide and Tetracycline (6 pills a day). Hopefully his nose will not start rotting away again.
Kermit also got his “shots”.
Cost of treatment for Kerm: $102.00
Second the Hubby Update.
The NEW Doctor looked at the “wounds” on hubby’s shins and determined that they were “contact dermatitis” (NOT!) This is when I started to doubt that anyone in this whole office knows what they are talking about.
You see these “wounds” are old injuries such as scraps and cuts that just won’t heal. One of the scratches is from Kermit the Dog that happened about a year ago. It has never completely healed and still gets a scab on it. The only redeeming factor, was that she has ordered a blood workup to check his cholesterol and to see about diabetes.
Cost of treatment for Hubby: $20.00
I guess I have to keep the Hubby and get rid of the dog.

Hee isn't that funny that animals cost so much. I have to take mine tomorror to get an updated rabies $58 and then both to get their hair done $75 dollars. Dogs get better treatment than I do.
