I just got home from a wonderful evening out with old friends.
And I mean old. These are friends that I went to high school with and their spouses. We try to get together once every few months to catch up on what is going on in each others lives.
So the news is: one of the couples, who have been "together" for 15 years is FINALLY getting married in November. The sinners have been living in "sin" all this time, shame on them. :)
Another couple is going to become "Grandparents" the beginning of next year. WOO HOO! Grandparents are the best people. Talk about a wide spectrum of life experiences.
Its great to touch base with people from your past. Makes you realize where you came from and where you have gotten too in your life.
I feel that I am right where I want to be.
Life is good!
Its wonderful that you do that. I don't think I talk to anyone from high school. It will be 20 years in 2 years.

I like my "old" friends to. My friend Donna and I still keep in touch after 25 years, she and I can talk like we did when we were 20...lotsa fun.
