ONLY ONE WORD!

I know that some of you who come here to read What's Up With That? don't really "know" me. We have never met but I know that I get a "feel" about people just by reading their thoughts.

I was sent an email today from a friend with this

Describe ME in ONE WORD...just one word!!!!

I thought it might be fun to see how people would describe me from just reading what I have to say.

So go ahead, put it in the comments. Just ONE WORD!

Then post this on your blog and see how many strange things people say about you!

This could be fun! AND INTERESTING!

You can still play even if you really DO know me but be nice.

Do You Really Want to Know Me?

I stole this from joelle.

1. Name someone with the same birthday as you.

Keifer Sutherland

2. Where was your first kiss?

Hada kissed my hand on the far corner of the playground when I was 6 years old. I didn't wash that hand for a week. I can't seem to remember the first mouth kiss. Must not have been too memorable.

3. Have you ever seriously vandalized someone else's property?

NO. What goes around, comes around. I guess Hubby's vandalizing days are coming back to bite him in the butt now.

4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex?
Not in anger, maybe a playful slap or spanking or .... better not go there.

5. Have you ever sang in front of a large number of people?

Just in grade school chorus. But NEVER alone. I would NEVER do karaoke.

6. What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?

It would have to be the smile or the eyes. I loves me a good smile.

7. What really turns you on?

A long, slow, deep, soft, wet kiss that lasts for three days.

8. What do you order at Starbucks?

A venti caramel frappuccino lite please.

9. What is your biggest mistake?

I don't make mistakes. I make learning experiences.

10. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?

Are you crazy? Never.

And the Answers Are.....

1. This one time at Band Camp...Yep, I was there. TRUE! I was AT Band Camp as a chaperone for my son when HE was in band. And NO it wasn't like the line from American Pie. I have NEVER played an instrument But I had you going eh?

2. I once did a dine and dash (left without paying) at Denny's. TRUE! When hubby and I were dating, we stopped at Denny's for a late night snack at the end of our date. Just as we were finishing our food, he leaned over and kissed me. The waitress quickly came to the table and said, "I am sorry but you have to leave." We thought she was kidding cause we were necking in the booth. But she informed us "No REALLY, there is a FIRE in the kitchen. So the whole restaurant ran out and stood outside while the fire department went in to put out the grease fire. We waited around for about 20 mins, with the other customers. But since we couldn't get back in we left. Dine and Dash! Felt guilty about it for weeks. :)

Last Chance to Play

Okay! For all off you who are waiting til the end of "The 9 Things About Me, BUT One is a Lie" game, to give an answer. Now is the time. I will be posting the answers to the question this afternoon. Don't dawdle now. Pick an answer. Come on see how well you REALLY know me.

I AM NOT a Liar!

Okay we are going to play "The 9 Things About Me, BUT One is a Lie" game.

I saw this at TenthMuse and decided to see how well you all know me. You will also notice that I removed the link to my "ABOUT ME" page. So if you read it before, you are well ahead of the rest.

So here are 9 things about me you might not have known. Eight are true and one is a BIG FAT LIE! Your job is to guess which one isn't true.

1. This one time at Band Camp....Yep, I was there.

2. I once did a dine and dash (left without paying) at Denny's.

I Want to Play...I Want to Play!

Over at Tenth-Muse, Joelle played the "Last Ten Songs on Your Playlist" game. You set your media player to random and tell what the first 10 songs are that play. No picking and chosing. You have to list the first ten songs, no matter HOW EMBARRASSING they are. Boy did I get screwed this time.

  1. Puff Daddy feat. Jimmy Paige - Come With Me
  2. Carpenters - The Uninvited Grust
  3. Josh Groban - Cinema Paradiso
  4. Nat King and Natalie Cole - Unforgettable
  5. Air Supply - It's Never to Late
  6. Pat Benatar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot
  7. The Monkees - The Day We Fall in Love
  8. Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4
  9. The Monkees - Take a Gian Step
  10. Wallflowers - I Wish I Felt Nothing

That is all. Now Hubby wants to play. But the Monkees music inspired him to go watch some old Monkees shows. Scary!

Pictures #2

Back on Sept. 30th, I had asked for you to suggest 3 photos for me to take.

The first installment of those pictures you asked for are here.

There were a few pictures that I had a hard time getting, (Beeker and Kerm in their classic battle pose) because said Beeker was under the weather from his little excursion into the wild.

But I have the final pictures that were requested in the extended entry.

Your Pictures #1

Here is the first installment of picture requests.

Pictures Anyone?

While catching up on my blog reading I found this at Alive and Bloggin

Think of 3 pictures you'd like to see.
Leave whatever you'd like to see in the comments.
Things around my house, or whatever... something I can take a picture of easily.
Once I have enough request, I'll start posting them. If I can't, or won't take a picture of something you've requested, I'll let you know.

I will even drive around the city to take pictures if you want. Want to see something of Phoenix? Let me know.

Have fun and be creative in your requests.

The Mystery of Time and Space

If you liked "Crimson Room" and "Viridian Room" then you will just LOVE "The Mystery of Time and Space". Before you start, make sure you have an hour or so to play. (maybe a whole afternoon) There is a chat you can join as you play so you can get help along the way if you want.

I love this kind of stuff.

I just wasted a whole afternoon. :)

MEME Propagation Test

This posting is a community experiment started by Minding the Planet to see how a meme represented by a blog posting spreads across blogspace, physical space and time. It will help to show how ideas travel across blogs in space and time and how blogs are connected. It may also help to show which blogs are most influential in the propagation of memes. Wallace and Ladmo

For those who are from the Valley of the Sun and are old enough to remember them, you have to check out this site. Wallace and Ladmo Link

It sure brought back memories for me.

Make sure you take the Wallace and Ladmo Quiz. I got 100%. I'm pretty damn proud of that!

For those of you that aren't from here. Wallace and Ladmo were a couple of guys who had a variety show during the mid 50's thru 1989. They put on skits and played cartoons to keep us entertained either before school or after school depending on what years you watched them.

There were all kinds of characters on the show. Gerald, the bratty private school kid who was always trying to get Ladmo in trouble. Aunt Maude, Marshall Good, Captain Super, Boffo the Clown (all played by Pat McMahon) to name a few.

Looking thru this Wallace and Ladmo website was a flash from the past. Brought back a whole lot of memories.

Damn. And then there was Legend City... But that is a whole other story. :)
